I thought it was some nude stretching or something, which would be bad enough for Kuon. I once watched a taxi driver do a whole stretch routine next to his car in a supermarket taxi pickup spot. It was surreal. As someone who loved the original, having played the game and watched the anime.
Hopefully they will port the console version of this game to the Pc since the 1st Utawarerumono game was a Pc game. I dunno, the previous Anime, is still in my Mind. I think i am not ready to see an alternative Version. Tail grabbing scene is an inside Joke? I dunno, but perhaps the future episode will show me, in what direction it goes.. So Deja vu vibes is still strong inside me.
It takes place just about years after the first one. I did like it though. And the first ep of this looks very promising so far. This is why we do these intro posts! This new season will contain massive spoilers to the original story. Also, the majority of the main characters from the original are confirmed to reappear and will probably mention other plot points of the original. Probably will never play it though unless I learn Japanese…. So this is some alternate retelling or reboot? Not like I even remember much of the original one.

Those that have seen it probably knows how far into the future this is and cameos would most likely be more enjoyable. This is from the same company that made White Album, I managed to enjoy White Album 2 without knowing anything about the original. So, they do know how to make sequels enjoyable to new viewers. The characters each belong to one of these six elements, with the exception of Haku, who is non-elemental.
Each element is both strong and weak to one of the other element. If you attack and avoid enemies based on the elements, you will have a much easier time. There are also different weathers in different stages which give a power boost to certain elements.
Winning battles will earn you items to equip. Items range from stat-boosting ones, to ailment resistant ones. Some items can greatly change the tide of a battle when equipped, so don't forget to equip them. This allows you to correct any mistake you make right after making them. Upon losing a battle, the game will prompt you to restart the battle or rewind to a previous turn. If your party is not severely under-leveled, simply rewinding should be enough to win you the battle if you take smarter actions the second time round.
Rewinding also allows you to practice pressing combos as many times as you like. The main story only has 17 battles, which is very few for a 60 hours long game… but fret not. After clearing the game, you can load the save data and have another 16 more optional battles. Naturally, I ran like hell. The creature cornered me anyway. That's when SHE appeared, as if from nowhere — the beautiful, mysterious girl who saved my life. She told me her name was Kuon.
